Add many buttons is not the right way, even with a small number of buttons on the remote control. up/down/left/right/select/menu, you can do a lot of things, Hold menu could show a popup with more actions for example. ALl other actions can be done with normal pressure on remote buttons. No need to add ACTION buttons on UI. > Yes, that has already been proposed. In this case hold left/right or up/down could show big letter over the list, and left/right or up/down change the letter. When select is pressed the list scroll to the right location. And if the user have a big Vista Media Center remote control ;) he could use keypad. Today my UI don't propose more actions than play, but when I thought about my UI, I only think with 6 buttons too :) I think that non geek users hate buttons. But I'm maybe wrong. > > > If your goal is to search for media, I don't think the right place is > > there, but could be add directly in the Music Menu. > > > > 3 - Back button : > > Have to be here only in touchscreen mode, not when using remote control. > > > > Think small remote control again :) > In front row for example I have never seen back button ;) > > 4 - Now Playing : > > I don't think that the text Now plyaing near album cover, is necessary. > > If this informations is only and always present here, normal people > > understant that it's the album they heard.
