Sorry, I think I first replied to Benjamin only. So here's to the list :-)

I was talking about the following scenario: 1) I start elisa on my notebook when it's attached to my local network. Elisa then finds the UPnP-Server and (almost) everything works fine. 2) I then shut my notebook down and take it to university. If I start elisa there in order to listen to the music stored locally on my notebook, the UPnP-Server is not shown in the menu (of course). 3) If I restart my notebook and elisa when being at home again and having my notebook attached to the local network again, elisa doesn't detect the UPnP-Server anymore. I first have to delete the db-files in ~/.elisa/plugins/ to make the UPnP-Server re-appear. I hope it's more clear now. Sorry for confusing you :-) > I created a ticket about that: > https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/ticket/1167 > > please reply to it when you have any news about it :) thanks! I will attach the problem description I wrote above. > well, I think we need this 'chaos' to help you ;). Can you upload the > output to some pastebin service and give us a link? That would really > help us :) I will create a file containing the "chaos" when being at home again (currently I'm at university) and send it to the mailing-list (if it's not too big). > Well, in theory that is possible when the server supports it (HTTP 1.1). OK, so it's an issue concerning the server and not the client. > Well, ask at the mythtv team when they can provide a > upnp-tv-implementation. I don't see a big problem on the client side... OK. I'm gonna search the web if there is anything about this issue already. > Cheers > Benjamin :D Copycat! :-p Thanks a lot for your help! Benjamin
