Where exactly to look in Launchpad? I can imagine that for example
movies have a same data structure as 'plot outline', 'rating' and
'release date', comparable to the things I mentioned. In my opinion, a
solution could be to use the right column (where the image is located
now) in some way (for example: first show only the image, after two
seconds make the image smaller and show additional information).

Exactly. I would like to think about that. It shouldn't be that
difficult to make such a metadata provider. On the same topic: is there
an order of importance in metadata providers? Since amazon cover fails
quite often for my Dutch albums - I would like there to put higher
priority for my local stored covers. And use Google only if there's no
other option available.
