Hi Eduard,
I've just downloaded and installed Elisa for win32. But the only thing that happens on it's start is the splash-screen. What should i do? I've tried to reboot. I've tried to launch the set_env.bat from elisa-core\mswin32\ directory, since i have no environment variables visible through the respective dialog in 'system properties' window. But when i try SET command under 'console' they're all there. I tried to launch elisa.exe from console, but nothing happened. Then i've found the 'Start_Elisa.bat' file. I tried to launch it from 'console' and here what it prints out:

  C:\Program Files\Elisa>"Start Elisa.bat" 2> C:\Elisa.log
Error 'utf8' codec can't decode bytes in position 26-27: invalid data
Press any key to continue . . .

where the 'Press any key to continue . . .' appears only after terminating the python.exe process. I've attached the Elisa.log file with the only errors it had.

So, what should i do?

I don't have a lot of information but I think this is a bug in the code that reads the name of the Media folders like "My Pictures", "My Videos", etc.

I assume that you are using Windows localized into Russian. Can you send me the names of those folders? Another idea would be to send you a small python script that tries to get those names and see if it works.

Regards,
