Wow, very nice pancake. I can now use my Nokia 770 to control Elisa! It's a
great option if you are looking for an $80 touch screen remote for Elisa
(that you can also run pidgin/ssh/skype on).

That's pretty cool!! It works on Windows XP out of the box too!
1) Download it there:
http://launchpad.net/elisa-plugin-httpinput/trunk/0.1/+download/elisa_plugin_httpinput-0.1-py2.5.egg
2) Copy it to your HOME/.elisa-0.5/plugins
3) Launch a web browser and go to http://localhost:8080
You will have control over your Elisa. Thanks pancake!

Hello everybody!
This is my first mail in this mailing list :)
The reason for this mail is to announce my first input plugin for Elisa.
This is a browser based input provider that allows to manage the interface
of elisa from any web browser. The current interface is just a simple
ascii
art one that fits ok in my iPodTouch 2G, so connected to the box via wifi
you get a NES-like pad with a text input to make searchs.
The interface is so simple, so you can use it from any device shipping a
web browser like PDA's, phones and so on.
There are some bugs in the text input and no way to configure the
listening
port, but this is something to be done in the next 0.2, becase i need a
first working version.
Let me know if somebody tries it, a skinned interface with images would be
really cool too. But this is something for the future :)
here's the url to the project:

I would like to thanks Florian for its help. :)
Have phun!
