That's still being discussed as we evaluate the overall strategy of what is
a warning and what is an error.

No because the anonymous function call without the dot is not an issue to
how the function is invoked but related to how a function is captured. This
has been discussed extensively in the past so I recommend looking at those
previous discussions, especially the one that explains Lisp 1 vs Lisp 2
namespaces.
