Hi Staffan and welcome to the Elm community!

I would recommend that you use elm-style-animation package for your
animation needs.

As for the presentation of text, you have full control over the generated
SVG, you can show or don't show the text based on the state of the model.

Have you went through the Elm Guide? Have you become familiar with the Elm
Architecture?
