Interesting! The fast-typing-makes-cursor-jump-to-end does not appear to 
happen in the number type with value set.

Still, I find different weird behavior in type number in both examples:
- In both the defaultValue and Value, I can type any amount of "." or "," 
without a number 0-9 and it is accepted.
- In the defaultValue variant, if I start with sequence of 0-9, as soon as 
I type a "." (thousand separator in my locale), the entire input is erased 
(even though value is never set)
- In the value variant, I can type any invalid sequence of 0-9, mixed with 
random "," and ".", and it is accepted

Seems input [ type_ "number" ] behaves weird in different ways..
