I'm using elm-vim too, but it's a bit off at times (like a 4 space indent within a let / in block instead of the 2 space it does everywhere else). Not a fan of using elm-format on save from within vim, it's a bit awkward and messes with your undo history, but yes I could totally use it from the CLI...
