Hello,
I have a Pinnacle HDTV Pro Stick that I have been able to get working
with mcentral v4l-dvb-kernel branch, and a Hauppage PVR-150 that works
otherwise. Unfortunately, I can only get one at a time working. After I
first installed the v4l-dvb-kernel branch, the ivtv modules would not load,
but I tracked that problem down to the PVR-150 firmware being overwritten
during the v4l-dvb-kernel install.

I putting in place the correct firmware for the PVR-150, the ivtv modules
would load normally at boot, but no device nodes were ever created for the
PVR-150. (the nvidia display driver also stopped working at this point -
when xorg started the screens would go black and stay that way with no
indication as to what was happening in the xorg or system logs that I could
find).

Caring more about a working PVR-150 than a working HDTV pro stick, I have
since reinstalled v4l-dvb from the main linuxtv.org repository, and the
PVR-150 is now functioning properly again. The em28xx modules are still
being loaded, but no device node is being created for the pro stick (not
that I would expect it to work now). To make matters worse, the sound card
devices are no longer being created, either, so I have no sound.

I don't have access to the logs at the moment, but I no that I am not the
first person to have this problem and I was just wondering if there is a
published solution out there that has elluded my searches.

Thanks,
   Chris
