Looks like I've again made the mistake of buying a new device for
Linux from a vendor which doesn't support linux explicitly, of which
other devices work under linux, but most annoying is changing is
products internally without further notice...
I've just bought a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 900H. Its it has vendorId 2040
and productID 6600 which I couldn't find neither in the em28xx hg
repositoeries nor in google (ok, a single opensuse forum post asking
for help).
Does anyone have information about this?
The more stringent question, does it contain an em28xx chipset? If
yes, I assume there a chance that it could work (with limited amount
of work). If not, I guess I'll have to see if it runs in a VM or bring
it back and again try to buy an old one on eBay.
