Since ada-mode is an Emacs project, creating a Savannah project for it makes the most sense (I should have done this instead of hostmonster in the first place, sigh). A savannah account is required for write access to GNU ELPA, which is where ada-mode is published. It looks like they support git, subversion, and cvs as repository tools. This will make it easier for someone else to take over as the maintainer eventually. See https://savannah.gnu.org/ for general info.
