My message in console.log is quite the same:
2006-07-21 19:13:58.393 Emacs[12767] CFLog (0): CFMessagePort:
bootstrap_register(): failed 1103 (0x44f), port = 0x2d03, name =
'Emacs.ServiceProvider'
See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error codes.
2006-07-21 19:13:58.396 Emacs[12767] CFLog (99):
CFMessagePortCreateLocal(): failed to name Mach port
(Emacs.ServiceProvider)
and since I launch Emacs.app as
open build/Emacs.app/
it runs for me. Query-replace-read-from works fine.
I have consistently the problem that 'M-x shell RET' lets Emacs.app
crash, at least the first few times, then it seems to work fine.
