Thanks, not sure what's going on in all cases with the fringe but I'll
look into it.

If you can send that crash stack trace that would be good.  I have a
patch locally for a crash related to fringe bitmaps, that's the only
one I've experienced.

Re: cursor blinking while moving, this has been on the TODO list for a
while but (obviously) not gotten to yet.
