I'm sorry if this has been brought up before. The "Hide Others" key binding in Emacs.app is Shift-Command-H. In every other Mac application it is Option-Command-H. I tend to use this menu option often to keep my workspace clean.
And please don't mention Spaces, it's the buggiest piece of software I have ever used!
