When Emacs detects that mail has arrived it indicates that with either an icon or the text "Mail" in the mode line. This does however not seem to be happening in Emacs.app, where instead of the icon or the text "Mail" just an empty section turns up in the mode line. This is just an cosmetic issue, but the most visible one for me.
Has anyone looked closer at why this is happening? Unless someone else knows, I might try to have a look at it, or try to come up with some workaround.
