Hi all,

Yesterday Savannah had a unexpected machine failure it seems. Now
trying to checkout emacs.app repo fails due to file corruption.
So this makes emacs.app repo unusable at this time. I wonder if would
be better to host emacs.app on a GIT repo instead of bzr. GIT is
better compared to bzr, its blazingly fast unlike bzr.
And there is already a emacs git repo available at
http://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=emacs.git . emacs.app could be a
branch with respect to that git repository. But for that to happen
painlessly I suggest this:

emacs.app is merged into emacs CVS as a branch then the git repo will
automatically add that branch too. This would make eventual emacs
merge easier too. What do you guys think?

Regards,
ismail
