Mac OS X saves crash reports in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter.

In /Developer/Applications/Utilities you can find
CrashReporterPrefs.app to adjust how CrashReporter should handle
crashes.

Emacsen offer in the Help menu the item "Send Bug Report…" which
provides useful information on the Emacs that has a bug. Only the
address to which the eMail will be sent needs an alteration. A
combination of Apple's crash report and this template is the optimum.

There is also this URL to report bugs: http://projects.sf.net/

Every instructor assumes that you have nothing else to do except
study for that instructor's course.
