[Emacs.app dev]: undiagnosed program exits

I've been getting a lot of sudden exits from Emacs.app. They're no crashes - at least I don't get the Crash Reporter to view a stack trace. I started it from a terminal to obtain some debug info, but there isn't anything except:

Fatal error (11)



Any ideas how I can debug this? 

This time it just happened after I fronted (or un-hid) the recent CVS build and clicked into a window.
