(tongue-in-cheek-mode 1) Upon starting Emacs.app today I discovered --- shock and horror! --- that using Apple-W to copy text to the clipboard attempted to close Emacs. I suspect this is just a particular symptom of trying to integrate Emacs.app with OS X's default set of keybindings (Apple-C/X/V for copy/cut/paste, etc.). I do not want this. I use (currently Carbon) Emacs _all the time_ and have worked hard to tune it for me, and I _like_ Apple-W/C-W/C-Y for copy/cut/paste. This translates well for when I use Emacs on Linux machines.
Is there a way to tell Emacs.app absolutely _not_ to attempt to integrate with the OS X conventions in this way? -- Denis ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emacs-app-dev- mailing list Emacs-app-dev-@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emacs-app-dev-
