(tongue-in-cheek-mode 1)

Upon starting Emacs.app today I discovered --- shock and horror! ---
that using Apple-W to copy text to the clipboard attempted to close
Emacs. I suspect this is just a particular symptom of trying to
integrate Emacs.app with OS X's default set of keybindings
(Apple-C/X/V for copy/cut/paste, etc.). I do not want this. I use
(currently Carbon) Emacs _all the time_ and have worked hard to tune
it for me, and I _like_ Apple-W/C-W/C-Y for copy/cut/paste. This
translates well for when I use Emacs on Linux machines.

Is there a way to tell Emacs.app absolutely _not_ to attempt to
integrate with the OS X conventions in this way?
