As long as they are smaller than the block size on your file system,
it probably doesn't matter...

Is there really such a thing as an absolute URI?

E.g. if the images are on a server somewhere -- the file name on
windoze may be h:\x\y\z.png while on GNU the file name may be
/mnt/images/z.png.
