The lines after the match contain a ^[[K like so:
xterm.el:29:(defun terminal-init-xterm ()
xterm.el-30-[K "Terminal initialization function for xterm."
xterm.el-31-[K ;; rxvt terminals sometimes set the TERM variable to "xterm",
but
grep is version 2.5.1 (that comes with FC4)
