This is on a i686-pc-linux-gnu Fedora Core 4 system. Do M-x grep RET - --after 2 init emacs/lisp/term/xterm.el RET The lines after the match contain a ^[[K like so: xterm.el:29:(defun terminal-init-xterm () xterm.el-30-[K "Terminal initialization function for xterm." xterm.el-31-[K ;; rxvt terminals sometimes set the TERM variable to "xterm", but grep is version 2.5.1 (that comes with FC4) _______________________________________________ Emacs-pretest-bug mailing list Emacs-pretest-bug@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-pretest-bug ------- End of forwarded message ------- _______________________________________________ Emacs-devel mailing list Emacs-devel@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-devel
