At least in Thunderbird-128 there is a "show all headers" checkbox, but
it is unrelated to Message-ID and I do not like the idea to waste
vertical screen space to always show more headers. I have not tried to
find if there is a more flexible option in about:config.
My bad. "More"→"Customize"→"Show all headers" checkbox in the headers
pane allows to copy Message-ID. At first I have not noticed scrollbar
specific to the headers pane. I expect that sometimes it is not easy to
find Message-ID among other headers, I have not find a way to search
there. In this sense message source [Ctrl+U] may be more convenient. I
was unlucky enough that for neither of several messages, I tried at
first, Message-ID header was visible.
So this suggestion may be added to worg.
P.S. I suspect that sometimes Thunderbird-128 may add headers from
previously viewed message.
