[Orgmode] emphasis customization error

While in the customization group "Org Font Lock", I get this error message:
   scan error: "unbalanced parenthesis," 22124, 47405

After I have set "org hide emphasis markers" to "on" and have clicked 
the "set for current session" button.

I'm using emacs 22.1.1 and org 5.15
