What is automatic is that line wrapping with auto-fill-mod will keep
the indentation, and that demoting and promoting will adapt the
indentation if all lines in the entry are already indented.
I wish I could make the entire indentation automatic, and I have tried
(see org-indent.el in contrib/lisp), but that does not yet really
work. Maybe some day.....

Just his TAB anywhere on the line and it aligns it with the heading
indent.
