[O] How to set the scheduled property programmatically?

Hello,

what is the correct way to set the property? I tried

(org-entry-put pom "SCHEDULED" "<2017-01-01 Sun ++1w>")

which results in

SCHEDULED: <2017-01-01 Sun>

As you can see, the 'repeater' is missing.
