Let's not worry about this until we see an actual problem.
It is up to you. Just have in mind that Wayland is more fragmented than
X11. I have not tried to count how many independent implementation of
compositors exist. KDE and GNOME may have independent bugs. It may be
not so easy to reproduce an issue, it may depend on
- Composer (DE)
- Application that is selection owner (its toolkit).
