I checked in more details. It looks like you fixed this issue on the branch via `org-latex-preview--svg-make-fg-currentColor'. Ironically, svgs generated on the branch, when opened in image-mode (when you open the actual svg file in Emacs) are displayed with white background. So, this bug will be auto-fixed after merging the branch for Org's purposes. Emacs bug is another story and it might happen that we may revert the hack after Emacs fixes bug#77841.
