It is, with "pandoc -o output.org input.tex".  I'd never used that, so I gave 
it a try, and it looks very good for some things, and would certainly be a good 
starting point, but I think some files could take a lot of cleanup to make them 
be truly Org.

And leave Emacs!?!?  I bet most people here would work on the Org file, perhaps 
adding chunks of raw LaTeX, until it did just what they want.
