Amen. I don't like it, and am upfront about it, but understand
perfectly that I have no business in blocking Org developers.
You do an awesome job, and I find my workarounds :-)

Thanks for bringing that up, this is another beef of mine. Given the problem
space, the "solution" is understandable, but horribly awkward. Watch the
discussions distribution maintainers had with the JIT people.

Yes, but I hate browsers (and don't want to hate Emacs :-)

Put it another way: I mistrust the browser and have long ago decided to use
many separate profiles for different things. The one I use for casual
browsing isn't even allowed to execute javascript.
