Hi,

It displays the way you want if you strike-through the whole url, like so:

+[[https://orgmode.org/org.html#Feedback][Struck-through link description]]+

When exported to html, it looks right, too.

Leo

Great, that's a much better way indeed.
Thank you!

Hello.

I have a list in org-mode whose items are actually hyperlinks. I wanted to strike-through the descriptions of the links that for whatever reason were no longer interesting, but good to keep in the
document. Say :

* One
** Two
- [[https://orgmode.org/org.html#Feedback][+Struck-through link
  description+]]
- [[https://orgmode.org/org.html#Feedback][Normal link
  description]]
 +Some striked-through line+

I find that the first link description is not displayed in emacs as struck-through, but it is exported struck, for example to a pdf.

The problem seems not related with my configuration, since using a "minimal" emacs/org-mode combination as explained in https://orgmode.org/org.html#Feedback shows the same problem (see
attached figure)

Not sure whether this is a bug or a feature, but I would like to
know if there is a way I Emacs : GNU Emacs 28.2 (build 1,
x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 3.24.38, cairo version 1.16.0)
of 2025-02-27, modified by Debian
Package: Org mode version 9.7.35 (9.7.35-7fbe36 @
