Maybe it's a word to strong but globally I don't think so. US copyright
rules where largely forced on the rest of the world which is helpful in
this context. But US isn't the only country in the world. I always felt
like the FSF was supposed to be a global thing.

When reading social media posts or news articles in general from the FSF
I feel like "Great idea. But how do we get there, could you do something
to address the roadblocks?" (i.e. GPL-3.0 FUD).

Anyway this is getting offtopic.
