Likely yes. Although similarities are striking (remember that "mid-flight" example; I suspect there will be others, less obvious). That's what made me think about chardet. Also, to be 100% clear, I do not believe that you had any bad intentions when asking Claude to implement the library. I also want to bring this example to FSF, to show how LLM, without asking for it, can create very similar, yet not identical code.
