I have been using org2blog to maintain blogposts on wordpress.com for a
couple of years now.

But on October 11 this year I suddenly started getting HTTP error code
429 Too Many Requests on xmlrpc operations from org2blog to wordpress
 https://github.com/org2blog/org2blog/issues/357

The same thing has happened to a couple of other org2blog users
 https://github.com/org2blog/org2blog/issues/354
 https://github.com/org2blog/org2blog/issues/355

The short story here is that the restriction on xmlrpc operations have
appeared when sites have been moved to a new hosting. And my site was
moved on October 11, the day I first encountered the problem.

One one the other people with this issue have succeeded in having
wordpress.com lift the 429 block. And the support person at wordpress I
spoke to have requested the same thing for me.

But it has been a couple of weeks now and I haven't heard anything more
and I still got 429 on xmlrpc operations yesterday.

So I am looking for options.

Are anyone else using org-mode to blog on wordpress.com?
If so, what do you use?

I have googled for alternatives, so I know of Lars Ingebrigtsen's
ewp. But as far as can tell, ewp relies on xmprpc, and therefore will
have the same issue as org2blog...?

All tips, hints and pointers appreciated.

Thanks!
