thanks for this. i'll give it a go -- and can i set this permanently
somewhere in my org conf file -- is it something like:
(setq latex_header ("\usepackage[letterpaper]{geometry}",
"\geometry{verbose,tmargin=3cm,bmargin=3cm,lmargin=3cm,rmargin=3cm}" ))
