Hi Aaron, can you repost your email using plain text? AFAIK there is no global option for turning plain text on by default on gmail (shame on Google) but you can do this for one email.
Otherwise your config is unreadable. Also, please include a minimal example .org file to reproduce the bug together with Org and Emacs version you are using. Best, -- Bastien
