This is OK when evaluating code blocks or exporting, but causes problems when tangling, as the temporary files are not available in a new session and handing on the tangled code or sourcing it from R becomes impossible.
I would therefore suggest to change the mechanism of passing tables to R so that the tables are included in the tangled files.
