Shouldn't commit b6448c4225bc83299da1bd08c2d2e8b77e0bcd13 (Fix "Marker points into wrong buffer" error) be in maint?
It works for me in emacs 24.3 and in 24.3.50 (as of today, 20130124). It's going to prevent errors in emacs 24.4 candidates. Miguel.
