Had no time yet to debug it,  but I discovered that C-g behaves like I
    am working  with two  separate emacs instances,  so does  the keyboard
    macro code (the macro is defined  only on "one machine" and not on the
    other...).

I can't even begin to guess what "behaves like I am working with two
separate emacs instances" means.

Only someone who can reproduce the problem can debug it, and you might
very well be the only one here who can reproduce it, so I hope you'll
debug it sooner or later.
