That's not what I saw a month ago, when this discussion started. And
Drew confirmed my findings back then.
Actually, I don't remember if I tested and confirmed that it worked for
attributes other than :inherit - my recollection is that Eli tested that and
I took his word for it. But Eli may be right that I also tested it and
confirmed what he saw.
My concern was that I couldn't make face-spec-reset-face do what the doc
string said (wrt future frames), for :inherit. That is, I was expecting
face-spec-reset-face to get rid of the default :inherit value of "Bold" for
completions-first-difference.
