The second paragraph of the info node titled ``56.4.2 Prefix Keymaps''
states this:

Thus, the binding of `C-x' is the symbol `Ctl-X-Prefix', whose
function definition is the keymap for `C-x' commands.

The symbol Ctl-X-Prefix doesn't exist:

C-u M-x apropos RET Ctl-X-Prefix RET
No apropos matches for `Ctl-X-Prefix'

The Elisp manual (in ``22.5 Prefix Keys'') says that it should be
Control-X-prefix, which does exist.

This is with Emacs 22.0.50, checked out of CVS 2005-11-07.
