I don't know about a bug in the font, but it looks like this is the best
matching font, and Ubuntu doesn't include:

     -Misc-Fixed-Medium-R-Normal--15-140-75-75-C-90-ISO8859-15 (#xE9)

or anything very similar (unless its just that Emacs can't find it).
