thanks Eli, bug reporting now works for latest emacs from cvs which includes
your latest patch. I'll now use this to report some additional bugs on
cygwin.
BTW, I used your advice to successfully compile emacs under mingw but didnt
find that environment to be as complete as cygwin which allows me to use on
my windows laptop all the gnu/linux tools I am used to from my desktop
machine.
