Sure, though delaying any release wasn't my aim. My aim was to find out
what had happened to the 6 reports of regressions against previous versions
of Emacs.
I appreciate your doing so; I just was commenting on how we should,
and how we shouldn't, operate on the result.
All reports I've made
to bug-cc-mode have disappeared into a black hole.
I think that the CC mode maintainer has been very busy for some months
now, and has not been doing justice to the work. I hope that this
is temporary.
