I am not sure this is the right list. Please direct me to a better
list if necessary.
I just wanted to report that I have emacs-22.0.91 working on AIX
5.3. Nothing special to do.
Just configure, make, make install. I used gcc 4.0.2 to compile but
AIX's other tools (ld, as).
I have the installed files as a backup file (one of AIX's tar type
formats). I'm happy to post it on
my web site for others to use if that would be appropriate.
I've only done a smoke test on it but it seems to work. It will be
my full time editor at this
point so it will get considerable use.
