I don't see the problem either. It would make Emacs DTRT in a lot more cases, at the expense of _potentially_ doing TWT in a few obscure cases, such as entering changelog-mode for a file named cHANGElOG. I'm 100% in favour of your proposal (and consequently in 100% disagreement with RMS -- on this issue). -- Kim F.
