Yes, same problem here. It's caused by the following change, and
can be reproduced easily by enabling partial-completion-mode.

* minibuf.c (read_minibuf):
Save and clear Vminibuffer_completing_file_name.
(read_minibuf_unwind): Restore it.
That change fixes a bug. Can you please investigate more precisely
how it causes this new bug?
