Actually my point was that even if you can't make the small mental leap as to what lru stands for (which your first post shows you could), it wouldn't stop you from understanding what the function did. I see Eli has now added what lru stands for, but I hope he doesn't stop there. I've always wondered who bobp is, and what's his full surname? Ah I see now! Perhaps to be clear we should call this function: beginning-of-buffer-p but wait the doc says: If the buffer is narrowed, this means the beginning of the narrowed part.
