I cannot reproduce this on my machine. Does that Windows box have some non-default display features enabled, like ClearType? If so, could you turn that off and try again? (To turn off ClearType, right-click on the desktop, select Properties, then click the Appearance tab, click Effects, and under "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts", make sure that the setting is NOT "Clear Type".) > Content-Type: image/gif; name=emacs-err.gif > Content-Disposition: inline; filename=emacs-err.gif > Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Yuck!
