This is just to report that I have built 22.0.98 with GTK+ support on Solaris "Nevada" (between Solaris 10 and 11) build 60 in both 32- and 64-bit mode, using Sun's C compiler. The build process was flawless, and I have been using the 64-bit version for several days without any issues.
(I still get a coredump in libcairo when I try to run over X to my Debian GNU/Linux laptop. My theory is that my laptop's X11/GNOME installation is somewhat hosed in the fonts department, so I don't blame Emacs. If anything, Cairo should be more robust. Remote display to my home PC running Ubuntu GNU/Linux works just fine.) Best regards, -- Simon.
